Providing liquidity in HyperEVM | WHYPE/USDT0 - Hybra Finance - I'll tell you about my experience in this new adventure!| [EN/ES]

One of the plans I put in place was to start participating in the blockchain ecosystem protocols that have the most potential going forward. After reviewing every parameter and minute detail, I found that Hyperliquid was a good idea. I started to see if there were any DeFi protocols to participate in, so that I could add points and some returns along the way, and I came across Hybra Finance.

The reason I opted for this protocol was because it was easy to position myself by providing a not exaggerated amount of liquidity. I started with $22 and managed to get above the 2,000 position. Of course, by the time people started to find out about it, my position on the leaderboard was moving towards 3,000. Today I added a little more liquidity, although I have actually used some HIVE to do so, which I hope to buy back when I finish providing liquidity (supposedly until the 15th, I have a 110% boost).

Uno de los planes que puse en funcionamiento fue comenzar a participar en los protocolos de los ecosistemas blockchain que más potencial tienen de cara al futuro. Luego de revisar cada parámetro y minucioso detalle, encontré que Hyperliquid era una buena idea. Empecé a ver si habían protocolos DeFi en donde participar, de manera tal de ir sumando puntos y algo de retornos en el transcurso, con lo que me encontré con Hybra Finance.

La razón por la que opté por este protocolo fue porque era fácil posicionarse al aportar una cantidad no exagerada de liquidez. Comencé con $22 dólares y alcancé estar por encima del puesto 2,000. Claro que cuando la gente se empezó a enterar de ello, mi puesto en la tabla de posiciones estaba yéndose hacia los 3,000. Hoy añadí un poco más de liquidez, aunque lo cierto es que he utilizado algunos HIVE para hacerlo, que espero volver a comprar cuando finalice de aportar liquidez (supuestamente hasta el 15, dispongo de un boost del 110%).

The main idea was to have HIVE in liquid and wait for a good pump considering the momentum Bitcoin has had these last days (BTC is close to the ATH of $120,000). At the moment I have another bit of HIVE in liquid, in case its price goes up. What seems important to me is to make a difference, and as I am not yet very experienced in derivatives trading (although I am interested), the most prompt option is liquidity contribution.

I decided among several options to provide liquidity in the WHYPE/USDT0 pair, which offers an APR of 263.09% at the moment. Of course, it is a rate that varies a lot, because sometimes it goes down considerably, but it can also go up impressively. What interests me most at the moment is to collect a good amount of points, and what is obvious, to claim the accumulated fees.

This site has a gamified system, which will allow you to get badges depending on the position in the ranking in which you are. In my case I am at 2,930 and I have obtained the One-Head Hybra badge, but as I have deposited more liquidity, it will probably be updated soon (it usually takes about 1 hour to update points and yields).

La idea principal era disponer de HIVE en líquido y esperar un buen pump teniendo en cuenta el impulso que ha tenido Bitcoin estos últimos días (BTC está cerca del ATH de $120,000). De momento tengo otro poco de HIVE en líquido, en caso de que su precio suba. Lo que me parece importante es marcar la diferencia, y como aún no me experimento mucho en cuanto al trading de derivados (aunque me interesa), la opción más pronta es el aporte de liquidez.

Decidí entre varias opciones aportar liquidez en el par WHYPE/USDT0, que ofrece un APR del 263.09% en estos momentos. Eso sí, es una tasa que varía mucho, pues algunas veces baja considerablemente, como también puede subir de forma impresionante. Lo que me interesa más en estos momentos es recolectar una buena cantidad de puntos, y lo que es obvio, ir reclamando los fees acumulados.

Este sitio tiene un sistema gamificado, lo que te permitirá obtener badges dependiendo del puesto en el ranking en el que te encuentres. En mi caso estoy en el 2,930 y he obtenido el badge One-Head Hybra, pero al haber depositado más liquidez, probablemente se actualice pronto (suele tardar como 1 hora las actualizaciones de puntos y rendimientos).

What also seems important to me is to have entered “early”. We are in season 0, which in many cases the distribution is much juicier at the end of the season. But in other cases, the distributions are at the end of all the seasons. It is something that needs to be looked at in more detail and that can change the scheme of your organization.

Providing liquidity in this protocol was not difficult, although I did have to do some research. I realized that the gas in Hyperliquid is just HYPE. The pool in which I wanted to add liquidity asked for WHYPE, so I understood that it was the wrapped token (similar to when you have ETH and change it to WETH, or vice versa) that allows us to manage a token in other protocols or blockchain standards in which it is not natively there.

Lo que también me parece importante es haber entrado "early". Estamos en la temporada 0, lo cuál en muchos casos el reparto es mucho más jugoso al finalizar la temporada. Pero en otros casos, los repartos son al finalizar todas las temporadas. Es algo que hay que ver con más detalle y que puede cambiar el esquema de tu organización.

Aportar liquidez en este protocolo no fue difícil, aunque sí tuve que investigar un poco. Me di cuenta que el gas en Hyperliquid es justamente HYPE. La piscina en la que quería añadir liquidez pedía WHYPE, así que entendí que se trataba del token envuelto (similar a cuando tienes ETH y lo cambias a WETH, o viceversa) que nos permite administrar un token en otros protocolos o estándares blockchain en los que no está de forma nativa.

Here the gas is super cheap, and I can set it even cheaper if I set the wallet (in my case I use Rabby Wallet). Setting it to standard, the price doesn't go over $0.002 per transaction. So that also contributes to the fact that you don't have to worry too much about gas. Because you can leave $0.10 for gas and it's going to be enough for several trades.

When providing liquidity the best way to do it is to evaluate how much you want to provide in total. But you must consider that it will be approximately half due to the par of that pool, so the ideal is to write how many USDT0 represent half, and the other calculates it to you in WHYPE (that being a volatile currency, you have to refresh the quote, so you can add more or less WHYPE to the pool). We also have to consider the range we opt for; in my case I opted for 10% of the price range. In case of going out of this range, you stop getting rewards (in both tokens and also XP points). I think that lowering it to 5% is justified when there is not so much price volatility.

Aquí el gas es súper barato, y lo puedo establecer aún más barato si configuro la billetera (en mi caso utilizo Rabby Wallet). Setéandolo en estándar, el precio no pasa los $0.002 por transacción. Así que eso también contribuye a que no te preocupes mucho por el gas. Pues puedes dejarte $0.10 para el gas y va a ser suficiente para varias operaciones.

Al aportar liquidez la mejor forma de hacerlo es evaluar cuánto quieres aportar en total. Pero debes considerar que será aproximadamente la mitad debido al par de esa piscina, por lo que lo ideal es escribir cuántos USDT0 representan la mitad, y la otra te la calcula en WHYPE (que al ser una moneda volátil, se tiene que refrescar la cotización, por lo que puede añadirse más o menos WHYPE a la piscina). También hay que considerar el rango al que optamos; en mi caso opté por un 10% del rango de precios. En caso de salirse de este rango, dejas de obtener recompensas (en ambos tokens y también en puntos de XP). Creo que bajarlo a un 5% está justificado cuando no hay tanta volatilidad de precios.

Let's see how this goes. I'm also with the OpenSea airdrop, with 3,275 XP, which is not bad at all, although the goal is to get to over 5,000 XP. With that, I think I'm getting close to something promising, but it's a matter of being constant, doing each and every one of the tasks of the day. I know it will be worth it.
