Hello, friends of the #Caturday community, today I want to share with you a little piece of feline life that brightens every corner of the building where I live.

As I have told you on different occasions our neighborhood cats have become true experts in the art of rest. They spend their days among the bushes, looking for the perfect corner where the sun caresses just enough for a good nap. From there they watch the world with that calm so typical of them, as if time had no hurry. At the first opportunity to find some food they rush out and then return to tranquility and rest.

With each passing day the group seems to grow. The little ones that not long ago barely peeked out from behind the plants now run around like grown-ups, playful and curious, learning the routines of the older ones. The older ones when they are alone do not fear the presence of humans, but when the little ones are around, the older ones run quickly as soon as they see my presence, it is as if they were teaching the little ones that they have to be careful with human presence.

The feline family is already part of the landscape, part of the history of the building, and silent witnesses of every sunrise and every golden afternoon.

Because they not only rest in the sun, they also teach us that life is best enjoyed with calm, curiosity and a good place to sleep.

Los gatos del edificio, reyes del descanso y del sol

Hola, amigos de la comunidad #Caturday, hoy quiero compartirles un pedacito de la vida felina que alegra cada rincón del edificio donde vivo.

Como les he contado en diferentes ocasiones nuestros gatos del vecindario se han convertido en verdaderos expertos en el arte del descanso. Pasan sus días entre los arbustos, buscando el rincón perfecto donde el sol acaricia justo lo necesario para una buena siesta. Desde allí observan el mundo con esa calma tan suya, como si el tiempo no tuviera prisa. A la primera oportunidad de encontrar algún alimento salen disparados y regresan luego a la tranquilidad y el descanso.

Con cada jornada el grupo parece crecer. Los pequeños que hace poco apenas se asomaban detrás de las plantas ya corretean como grandes, juguetones y curiosos, aprendiendo las rutinas de los mayores. Los mayores cuando están solos no temen la presencia de los humanos, en cambio cuando están los pequeños, los mayores corren rápido en cuanto ven mi presencia es como si les estuvieran enseñando a los pequeños que tienen que ser cuidadosos con la presencia humana.

La familia felina ya es parte del paisaje, parte de la historia del edificio, y testigos silenciosos de cada amanecer y cada tarde dorada.

Porque ellos no solo descansan al sol, también nos enseñan que la vida se disfruta mejor con calma, curiosidad y un buen lugar para dormir.
