Indulge in a delightful homemade dessert with this No-Machine Oreo Rolled Ice Cream recipe. Using just a baking sheet and simple ingredients, you can craft this delicious American-style treat right in your own kitchen. This fun and interactive method lets you enjoy freshly made rolled ice cream perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

💧 1 cup water

🍪 6 Oreo cookies

🥛 1/2- 3/4 cup half and half

Instructions

1- Prepare the Cold Plate:

  • Pour a shallow, even layer of water onto a flat metal baking sheet.

  • Put another pan on top.

  • Place the baking sheets securely in the freezer. Allow it to freeze completely solid.

2- Retrieve Frozen Trays:

  • Once the water is frozen solid, carefully remove the baking sheets from the freezer.

  • Wearing gloves is recommended to protect your hands from the cold.

3- Add and Crush Oreos:

  • Position 6 Oreo cookies on the frozen surface.

  • Using a metal spatula or scraper, crush the Oreos into fine pieces directly on the tray.

4- Add Half and Half:

  • Gently pour 1/2 cup of Half and Half over the crushed Oreos.

5- Mix and Chop:

  • Quickly mix and chop the Oreos and milk into a consistent slushy mixture using metal spatulas.

  • Continuously gather and spread the mix until it thickens and begins to freeze into a uniform semi-solid.

6- Spread Thin:

  • Once your mixture is adequately frozen, spread it out into a thin layer across a section of the tray.

7- Roll the Ice Cream:

  • With a metal spatula, firmly scrape the frozen mixture from one edge to form neat rolls.

  • Repeat with the remaining mixture.

8- Serve:

  • Serve the freshly made rolls immediately in bowls or enjoy directly from the tray.
