Hello dear Hivers! 💖 I wish you all well and hope you're having a wonderful day 🙏
This is the lively and welcoming ambiance of Buddy's, a newly opened restaurant I spotted inside the mall near our area. We haven't tried their food yet, but the festive decorations and overall inviting atmosphere just made me want to take pictures. From their signage, it seems that their roots trace back to Lucban, Quezon Province, a place known for good food such as Pancit Lucban (stir-fried noodle) and Longganisang Lucban (pork sausage).
What caught my attention right away are the bright, life-sized Higantes (giants) stationed in the corners. These costumed figures are from Lucban's Pahiyas Festival, the most vibrant harvest celebration in the Philippines.
Everywhere you look, the area is filled with bright decorations so you feel like you entered a vibrant Fiesta (festival). I'm definitely coming back here and hopefully will be able to taste their dishes and get a Lucban feel right here in the city! 💖
