Greetings Hive worlds! Yesterday I visited a very unique cafe with my little boy. The concept of this cafe was very unique. It was landscaped as a tiny garden with random tables located in open area. It was surrounded by trees, potted plants, flowery vines, ferns and other plants that I didn't know the name.

A koi ponds sit peacefully in the middle with animals running along freely, well most of them at least. Because not only it hosted common pets such as birds, ducks, and rabbits, it also had a crocodile pet!

So I challenged myself to try capture the soul of those tiny creatures that keep moving! As well as the beautiful plants that I saw there. Please enjoy the magical charm that made our afternoon so unforgettable.

One of my favorite features of the cafe; this is Thunbergia grandiflora or we call it Madia flower. It is a kind of flowery vines that decorated the entrance of the cafe. The scent was faintly sweet when you passed them and the fallen flower that in contrast with deep green grasses really made the ambiance perfect.

Trying to capture the cute bunny but they keep moving. I have to crouch still for few moments to get that close up photos. They were very shy.

Meet our feathered friends: the Ducks and Takur Bultok bird (Megalaima lineata). They were kept in cage of course but I was able to take few cute shoots.

The cafe also host some birds that running or flying freely around the area. There are few doves and also this unique looking bird with thin and long legs. We called it Gagang-bayam belang (Himantopus himantopus) here. Sadly I couldn't get a clear shoot because they keep moving around and I only bring my Android phone.

There are also some fruit trees that I found but not all of them is in season. I got a ripe big starfruit that so ready to be plucked and also a Suriname cherry trees (Eugenia uniflora) that was plenty with fruits. We called it Dewandaru here, and it was believed if your Dewandaru tree is bountiful, you will have a good fortune.

I was so surprised when I found a curry leave tree since usually I only found the leaves in supermarket. It was not a common herbs/seasoning here, but I like to use it for cooking due to its distinct smell. Also there was this hanging cactus which I didn't know why they keep it unsoiled. But it was a pretty bizarre and beautiful sight.

And the primadona of the place, the female crocodile named Popo. She was my son favorite of course, above the birds and rabbits that he chased around non stop. Unfortunately we didn't come when it's feeding time, that would be a very interesting experience.

Thank you for reading my post! I hope you enjoy getting know the animals on this small yet very interesting Cafe. See you around, Hivers!
