When I was little
I loved playing cat's cradle
I'd loop the yarn around my fingers
and enjoy the patterns the threads wove
But I stopped doing it at some point
I remember a manga had something like a cat's cradle tournament
The protagonist, who was good at it, became a star
But in the end, he returned to his old world where cat's cradle didn't matter at all
I thought that was a pity

小さな頃は
あやとりをするのが好きだった
毛糸をわっかにして手にひっかけて
糸が織りなす模様を楽しむのが好きだった
でもいつしかやらなくなった
確かある漫画で　あやとりの大会みたいなのがあって
あやとりの上手い主人公がスターになったけど
結局あやとりなんかどうでもいい元の世界に戻った
私は残念なことだと思った
