Visiting the King's Hill! 馃槈

Hello Everyone!
Today I brought a new journey that me and my wife did recently travelling to the top of the hill next to our village. I lived here for more than 30 years and I never really came to my mind to go up there, so this journey will be interesting, because I will go somewhere so close and in the same time so far.
We will start our journey coming out from our village in a straight road until we hit the main road where their is a busy crossroad. 馃榿

As soon as we crossed we started to walk gently on a slope, which will lead us to the the hill itself what we call the King's Mountain for some reason. 馃槆

On our left you will see a lot of factories and warehouses, which was built in the recent years, so they are quite new, but at least on our right they left the nature untouched.
When we reached the end of the paved road we found a horse clinic, which I never knew it is here and if you look closely the doctor and his two helper is desperatly trying to ask that horsie to go into the van, which he doesn't really want to do. 馃槄

We reached to a point where local people are having weekend houses on the hill (me and my family used to have one, but it was more than 25 years ago) to grow some crops or to enjoy being out in the nature. 馃槉
We reached to a point where tall trees and their canopies forming a dense cover on the forest floor. The sunlight goes through the leaves, creating amazing light and shadow patterns on the ground. I love the depth and natural beauty of a typical forest. The temperature was quite warm on this day, but entering the woods was refreshing. 馃

Soon we will reach to the top and just before that I have tried to capture the nature as realistic as possible. I found few trees standing alone, which immediately made me to take my camera out and take a picture of it. 馃槉
The view from the top was absolutely astonishing and I would never had imagined that next to our village their is such an amazing view from the rural or suburban area in a valley. I wish to have higher resolution on my camera, because on this picture you can easily see (as long as you are there) at least six villages around ours and if scroll down a bit more you can see a picture where I tried to zoom in a little bit. 馃槈

This is the picture where I zoomed in to our village and if you have sharp eyes you can see the castle and temple in the center. The big hill or shall we call it mountain in the far is I believe is the Tokaj Mountain where they are making amazing and very famous wines.
We sat down just under this tree trying to protect our skin from direct sunlight and we enjoyed the view and rester for an hour when we finally decided to go back to the civilisation. 馃槈
The sun was about to go down, but even though the sky was bright, which is why I love the Summer season amongst many other things. The greenery and vastness is always amaze me and living all the time around people makes me appreciate these times when I am out in the nature even more. 馃

On our way to home we found an interesting place where a large, white cross stands on a grassy hilltop, overlooking a landscape of fields and trees. This was quite surprising as we didn't expected that, but looked pretty nice. Their was even a plaquette at its feet where they mention it that the cross was erected in the year of our Lord in 2020. On the right of the plaquette there is a daily prayer and if you are interested what it says I translated for you with our good old friend of Google. 馃槈
Set In the year of the Lord 2020 Our Great Patron Saints the Blessed Virgin Mary Honor Our Lord Jesus Christ Glory We trust in you, we live and we will be. Forever and ever.
Daily Prayer
We adore you, Christ and bless you, because you are holy. Through your cross, you have redeemed the world! Jesus of Nazareth conquered death. His kingdom is eternal. Come to rule the world and time Lord, by God! Be merciful to those who are Holy Your name is blasphemed. Forgive them 'cause they don't They know what they are doing! O Lord my God! Be merciful to those who they fill the world with their scandals. Free it they are the spirit eater of Satan O Lord my God! Be merciful to those who they have moved away. Give them the Eucharist with the grace of its sweet taste! O Lord my God! Be merciful to those who come, that under your glorious Holy Cross their sins they regret it. Give them the gift of our divine Saviour peace and joy! O Lord my God! Your mercy brings you down to earth Your rule. Save humanity while you give it time to him to repentance! Your time is near: Surely I will come soon Come, Lord Jesus! A Tenth Rosary: He Who Blood for Us Sweats We ask You, Lord our God, to pour it out on the whole world riches of your infinite mercy, Christ, Through our Lord. Amen.
Just before it gets really dark we managed to circle back where we started and you can see the huge factory and warehouse complex that I was talking about at the beginning of our journey. The city of Miskolc is there as well just around the foot of the hill at the right side.
As a little extra I took a funny picture from us in a mirror post, which will help the drivers to see who is coming in the corner. 馃構
I did all of the pictures above with my OnePlus Nord 4 phone.
Thank you so much for reading our little journey around our village and I am so happy that I was able to share it with you all! 馃檹
