Hope you are having a very nice day. Today's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! i am goin to share "EXPLORING DUAL ATTACK CARDS IN A UP CLOSE IN PERSONAL BATTLE RULESET" where i am going to share a battle using a two dual attack monster with a up close and personal, blood and sunder and armored up battle ruleset.

UNDERSTANDING DUAL ATTACK MONSTER

Dual attack monster are categorized under multiple attack monster under attack type when you are buying or renting on the splinterlands official site or third party like peakmonster. The monster either had both melee and magic attack, both melee and ranged attack , both magic and ranged or as long as a combination of two attacks.

THE BATTLE

This battle is a 21 mana battle with with a up close and personal, blood and sunder and armored up battle ruleset against a very strong opponent who let me win to boost confidence after having a losing streak. My opponent uses Avina of the Wolf as his archon with the great Dar 'Gottem' Gearnut, Halfling Refugee and Frigid Wolf while i uses Eternal Tofu with Halfling Refugee, Frigid Wolf and two dual attack monster Hodlor and Olivia of the Brook.

BATTLE RULESET :

RULESET	DESCRIPTION
	Up Close and Personal - you can only summon units with melee attacks. Use Thorns and Demoralize to counter melee attacks. Units with 2 types of attacks (including melee) can be used.
	Blood and Sunder - all units have Corrosive Ward (-2 to attacker’s armor and maximum armor when hit by a melee attack)
	Armored Up - all units gain +2 armor. Use Void Armor to ensure that magic attacks strike armor first. Use Shatter or Piercing to destroy your opponent's armor more effectively.

MY TWO TEAMS WITH DUAL ATTACK

1. HODLOR

Hodlor is a steward in the service of the archmagess Portia Nyr. Loyal. Quiet. Strong enough to carry ironbound chests fill with palladium ords without complaint. Hodlor is part of the conclave arcana and belongs to the human and it is a neutral monster where you can used mostly in the battlefield.

* HODLOR - hodlor is a 6 mana epic conclave arcana card. It has dual attack . At maxed level it has 2 magic attack and 3 melee attack. It also has 5 health and 4 speed. It also has 3 abilities; reach ability (can use melee attacks from the second position), dispel ability (removes magic buffs after a successful attack) and phase ability (magic attacks have the same chance to miss as physical attacks). In this battle with up close and personal ruleset he has the advantage being with dual attack melee and magic which can position at the back to take advantage of its magic.

2. OLIVIA OF THE BROOK

Olivia of the brook is part of the rebellion soulbound reward card. It is part of the epic but when its mimic ability start to copy ones ability she become a goddess and become a super legendary despite being epic . She is one of the most loved rebellion reward card due to its unique ability that tribes better when the battle goes longer. Olivia of the brook is my most used epic reward card due to its dual attack and mimic ability specially when paired with eternal tofu and monster with heal ability because when the battle goes longer my victory percentage rise.

* OLIVIA OF THE BROOK - is a 6 mana epic rebellion soulbound reward card. At level 5 it has 1 magic attack and 1 melee attack. At level 5 it has also 1 armor, 5 health and 3 speed. At level 5 it has two abilities; opportunity ability (targets the enemy unit with the least health) and mimic ablity ( At the beginning of round 2 and each following round, gain a random ability from the enemy team. Dispel removes one mimicked ability in the order they were gained. Debilitations, Targeting abilities, Ambush, Weapons Training, Flank, Reach, Charge, and Taunt cannot be mimicked). Like hodlor she trives at up close and personal due to their dual attacks.

In this 21 mana battle with with a up close and personal, blood and sunder and armored up battle ruleset against a very strong opponent my strategy and positioning is to used Eternal Tofu as my archon to take advantage of its added triage and scavenger ability to be benefitted by olivia of the brook at the last position as blood and sunder is already added in the battle ruleset. I then used low mana monster as this is only a 21 mana battle so i used halfling refugee as my tank with frigid wolf at second position . Then i added hodlor due to its dual attack - melee and magic at third position. Now i got two dual attack monster with magic at 3rd and last position that give me advantage in winning the battle.
