Desde mi tierra, desde mi Mendoza querida, hola Hive!!

Hola amigos! Vuelvo después de tanto tiempo, con mi nueva presencia en la blockchain que es intermitente y sin planificación.

Esuchen y lean a la Belén de hace 2 años atrás que les decía que planificar era la clave de la constancia. Mi falta de presencia en el blog se debe en un 85% a falta de planificación, 10% a un cansancio extremo debido a tanto movimiento que me lleva a elegir hacer algo más, como salir a caminar, antes que sentarme a hacer cualquier cosa, 5% a falta de tiempo (que me falta, pero yo misma sé que falta por la primera causa, alias planificaicón).

Amigos, qué alegría decirles que estoy en Mendoza. Hace unos meses empecé a planear (valga la insistencia con este sustantivo y verbo) mi visita a Argentina.

From my homeland, from my beloved Mendoza, hello Hive!!

Hello friends! I'm back after so long, with my new presence on the blockchain, which is intermittent and unplanned. Friends, I am so happy to tell you that I am in Mendoza. A few months ago, I began to plan (excuse the insistence on this noun and verb) my visit to Argentina.

Hoy les acerco esta experiencia hermosa que me regaló la vida y la bodega, por haber compartido por redes, hace un año y unos meses atrás, mi felicidad tras haber conseguido una botella del emblemático Malbec mendocino. Para quienes no sepan, el Malbec es el varietal estrella de la provincia de Mendoza.

Hace unos días le escribí a Bodega Séptima tras ver una de sus historias, para preguntarles si no estaban interesados en una colaboración, y para mi sorpresa su respuesta fue sí.

Today I bring you this wonderful experience that life and the winery gave me, for sharing my happiness on social media a year and a few months ago after getting my hands on a bottle of the iconic Malbec from Mendoza. For those who don't know, Malbec is the star varietal of the province of Mendoza.

A few days ago, I wrote to Bodega Séptima after seeing one of their stories to ask if they were interested in a collaboration, and to my surprise, their answer was yes.

Como algunos sabrán, no tengo una buena relación con mis padres, pero ellos son uno de los principales motivos que me trajo a Mendoza, ya que tenía ganas de verlos en persona después de casi dos años.

Le comenté esto a la bodega y me dijeron que nos invitaban a los 3 a un tapeo Séptima Obra, que consistía en 4 pasos con vinos diferentes y unas tapas. Allá fuimos.

As some of you may know, I don't have a good relationship with my parents, but they are one of the main reasons that brought me to Mendoza, as I wanted to see them in person after almost two years.

I mentioned this to the winery and they said they would invite the three of us to a Séptima Obra tapas tasting, which consisted of four courses with different wines and tapas. So off we went.

Ayer viví en esta bodega la experiencia, y además nos explicaron muchísimo de la misma mientras probábamos los vinos. Degustamos Chardonnay, Malbec, Cabernet Franc y Cabernet Sauvignon, una delicia los 4.

Resulta que bodega Séptima nace en verdad en España, allá por el 1500, de la mano de la famosa Cordonìu catalana. Sin embargo, fue sobre 1990 que empezó a pensarse en Bodega Séptima, desde Mendoza, y en 2001 abrió sus puertas ya con su edificio instalado al lado de la R7 (ruta 7, que conecta a Mendoza con Chile y con Buenos Aires), con un impactante edificio.

Yesterday, I had this experience at this winery, and they also explained a lot about it to us while we tasted the wines. We tasted Chardonnay, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, all four of which were delicious.

It turns out that Bodega Séptima was actually founded in Spain back in the 1500s by the famous Catalan winery Cordonìu. However, it was around 1990 that Bodega Séptima began to be conceived in Mendoza, and in 2001 it opened its doors with its impressive building located next to the R7 (Route 7, which connects Mendoza with Chile and Buenos Aires).

Averigüé sobre la exportación de este vino, antes de saber que sus orígenes estaban en España, ya que me había parecido muy raro verlo en Ibiza, a donde llega muy poco en verdad.

Y claro, su mercado está en crecimiento, exportan algo a Europa, está entrando como consumidor el norte de Europa, y además están exportando a Estados Unidos, toda la línea orgánica.

Brasil es otro buen mercado para ellos y ven un gran potencial en el Sudeste Asiático, en países como China, Islandia, Tailandia, y otros, en donde el vino es considerado una bebida de lujo por su alto valor.

Descartan países africanos y del centro oeste asiático debido a temas religiosos, ya que al pertenecer al islam, tienen prohibido consumir vino.

I inquired about the export of this wine before learning that it originated in Spain, as I found it very unusual to see it in Ibiza, where it is rarely available.

Of course, its market is growing; they export some to Europe, northern Europe is becoming a consumer market, and they are also exporting the entire organic line to the United States.

Brazil is another good market for them, and they see great potential in Southeast Asia, in countries such as China, Iceland, Thailand, and others, where wine is considered a luxury drink due to its high value.
They rule out African and Central Asian countries due to religious issues, as Muslims are prohibited from consuming wine.

En las fotos están viendo toda la experiencia y a mis padres, quienes quedaron encantados con esta idea. Yo también estuve muy contenta, ya que disfrutamos de algo diferente, compartimos un lindo momento, conversamos y claro que comimos súper rico.
