Seaside Serenity at Hacienda Miranda: A Medellin Mini-Adventure

This small outing was planned by Claizza because Medellin is her hometown. She wanted to relax for a while. Only Shemel, Jezel, and I were free that day, but we still went. When we arrived at their house, we did not waste time and went straight to Hacienda Miranda. We were excited for a simple day outside.

When we reached the place, we were surprised because there were so many sea grapes around the fishpond and near the shore. We started collecting them happily. The area was quiet, and the wind felt soft. Beside the fishpond, the ocean was calm, and looking at it made us feel peaceful. It was also my first time seeing how sea grapes grow. When I was young, I thought sea grapes grew deep in the ocean and people had to dive to get them. I did not know they could grow in shallow water, just near the edge of the fishpond. It felt new and amazing to see something like that up close.

After getting the sea grapes, I washed in the sea to cool down. The water felt nice on my skin. It reminded me how peaceful life is when you are near the ocean. It was such a simple moment, but it felt special.

We took pictures next. The fishpond was on one side, and the ocean was on the other. Every part of the place looked beautiful, so we took many photos. Even though our group was not complete, we still laughed and enjoyed every moment. Sometimes, even small trips with a few friends can make the happiest memories.

Before going home, we made some TikTok videos. We danced and laughed while the wind blew around us. It was a simple way to end the day, but it felt just right. There were no big plans, only fun and light moments.
Hacienda Miranda may be simple, but it gave us a peaceful escape and memories I will always remember.
