food-medicine, proximity, and freedom

Hi beautiful Natural Medicine friends,

This morning I was walking down the wee street in front of my house in Italy, and saw this glorious sight - the apricots are already showing themselves!

The tree is flourishing, and it feels so beautiful to have this bountiful medicine-and-food so close to my home, that I can pop out and pick them as I go to the gardens each morning.

The close proximity of our food-medicine is such a key part of it being food and medicine: the fact that it grows effortlessly, provides abundantly, needs no intervention or expense expended on it...

Again, most of the gardening I'm doing is simply facilitating nature: not 'planting' in the conventional sense, or planning or the like: just Being, curating, guardianing.

The most effort I expend, is on consciously praying, saying matras of gratitude, giving reverence and energy to the plant or tree, the soil, the elements.

And this is returned to me a hundredfold....
Blessings and love to you,
Clare
