Ingredients

🍋 1 whole lime
☕ 1 shot of espresso, 30-60ml


Instructions

1- Prepare the Lime:

  • Place a whole lime on a wooden cutting board.
  • Use a stainless-steel chef's knife to slice the lime in half, then cut into wedges.

2- Setup the Glass:

  • Take a small, clear, faceted drinking glass.
  • Place 2-3 lime wedges at the bottom of the glass.

3- Brew Espresso:

  • Position the glass directly under the portafilter of a semi-automatic espresso machine—akin to the Breville Barista Express.
  • Start the brewing process, allowing the espresso shot to pour directly over the lime wedges.

4- Complete & Serve:

  • Once the machine's display timer reaches 000, indicating the espresso shot is complete, remove the glass.
  • Garnish with a thin slice of lime on the rim and serve immediately for the best taste.
