CACTUS 🌵 PARA MI CESTA 🧺 // CACTUS 🌵 FOR MY BASKET 🧺.

Hola amigos de #hivediy es un placer para mí estar nuevamente por la comunidad para ofrecerles una alternativa de decoración para el hogar u oficina. Es posible que les pase como a mi que siempre tengo un rinconcito vacío sobre la consola, peinadora o mesita de noche. Para ocupar esos pequeños espacios siempre se me ocurre algo para embellecerlo y ya saben que casi siempre es tejido a crochet.

En esta oportunidad quiero mostrarles lo que realicé con la linda cesta que tejí y endurecí con pegamento blanco, ya tenía en mente un proyecto parecido, pero luego decidí hacer un pequeño cambio ya que los colores de hilo que quería para empezar no los tenía completos. En la espera para comprarlos hice un cambio de plan. Ya verán de qué manera decoré esta linda cesta.

Empecemos por mencionar los materiales que necesité:

• La cesta previamente tejida.
• Hilos pabilos color verde, diferentes tonos.
• Hilos pabilos color rosado, marrón, rojo o coral.
• Aguja de crochet de 2,25mm.
• Tijeras.
• Aguja lanera.
• Algodón sintético.
• Pegamento.

It is possible that it happens to you like me that I always have an empty corner on the console, comb or nightstand. To occupy those little spaces I always come up with something to embellish it and you know that it is almost always crochet.

This time I want to show you what I did with the pretty basket that I crocheted and stiffened with white glue. I already had a similar project in mind, but then I decided to make a small change because I didn't have all the yarn colors I wanted to start with. While waiting to buy them I made a change of plan. You will see how I decorated this cute basket.

Let's start by mentioning the materials I needed:

• The previously woven basket.
• Green wick yarns, different shades.
• Pink, red or coral colored wick yarns.
• Crochet needle of 2.25mm.
• Scissors.
• Wool needle.
• Synthetic cotton.
• Glue.

🌵 El procedimiento es bastante sencillo, con seguridad tu podrás hacer una parecida para ti.

• Empecé tejiendo con hilo color marrón. Inicié con un anillo mágico de 6pma, luego realicé la vuelta de 6aum de pma. Inmediatamente tejí las siguientes vueltas de aumentos desde 1pma-1aum hasta 4pma-1aum. Finalicé con 1pd. Corté el hilo y escondí la hebra.
• Fijé esta pieza marrón sobre un pequeño trozo de anime que ya había metido en la cesta, usé pegamento. Así se ve realizado este paso.

🌵 The procedure is quite simple, for sure you can make a similar one for yourself.

• I started by knitting with brown yarn. I started with a magic ring of 6pma, then made the 6aum round of pma. I immediately knit the following rounds of increases from 1pma-1aum to 4pma-1aum. I ended with 1pd. I cut the yarn and hid the yarn.
• I attached this brown piece to a small piece of anime that I had already put in the basket, I used glue. This is what this step looks like.

• Para hacer los cactus 🌵 inicié con cadenas, sobre las cadenas teji vueltas de puntos medios altos tomando siempre el punto en BLO.
• Realicé tres cactus 🌵 cada uno de un tamaño diferente. Como pueden ver también los realicé con los dos colores de verde que tenía disponible.
• Una vez que teji las tres piezas horizontales las uní con la aguja lanera cada una para cerrarlas y hacer algo como un tubo. Después tomé el hilo que dejé suelto en cada trozo para hilvanar por el alrededor, halar y cerrar el orificio. Cerré con pd y corté el hilo.
• Coloqué el algodón sintético y cerré el otro orificio. Corté el hilo y escondí la hebra sobrante.

• To make the cactus 🌵 I started with chains, over the chains I knitted loops of medium high stitches always taking the stitch in BLO.
• I made three cactus 🌵 each of a different size. As you can see I also made them with the two colors of green I had available.
• Once I knitted the three horizontal pieces I joined them with the wool needle each one to close them and make something like a tube. Then I took the yarn that I left loose in each piece to thread around it, pull and close the hole. I closed with pd and cut the thread.
• I placed the synthetic cotton and closed the other hole. I cut the yarn and hid the excess yarn.

🌵 Presenté los cactus dentro de la cesta para confirmar que entrataran. Me gustó la vista y después procedí a pegarlos.

🌵 I presented the cacti inside the basket to confirm that they would fit. I liked the look and then proceeded to glue them in.

🌵 Decidí colocar encima de cada cactus 🌵 una pequeña flor. La flor se teje súper fácil. Hice unas cadenas y sobre cada punto cadena tejí 3pbj (puntos bajos juntos). Después enrollé este tejido, lo cosí y lo pegué sobre el cactus.

🌵 I decided to top each cactus 🌵 with a small flower. The flower is super easy to knit. I made some chains and over each chain stitch I knit 3pbj (low stitches together). Then I rolled this knit, sewed it together and glued it on top of the cactus.

🌵 A uno de los cactus pequeños le bordé puntos con hilo blanco. Y así se ven dentro de la cesta. Me gusta mucho el resultado final. Ahora tengo un nuevo adorno para embellecer otro espacio en mi hogar. ¿Qué les parece este diseño? La cesta está endurecida con pegamento blanco. Traté de hacer los cactus 🌵 para que entraran allí con facilidad.
