Hue – a land of silence, poetry and rich cultural and historical values

Hi dear Hivers in the Worldmappin community. Today I will take you to the ancient capital of Vietnam. Hue, located on the gentle Huong River, is the last ancient capital of the feudal dynasty of Vietnam. After hundreds of years, this place still retains its ancient and profound beauty, bearing the mark of historical ups and downs. Hue was once the political, cultural and religious center of the country under the Nguyen Dynasty, leaving behind a massive heritage complex with the Imperial City, tombs of Nguyen kings, pagodas and works with bold royal architecture. This entire complex was recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage in 1993.
Coming to Hue, visitors feel like they are entering an open history book. Hue Imperial City, with Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Dien Tho Palace... is the heart of the Imperial City, clearly recreating the ancient royal life. A little further are the mausoleums with different architectural styles: the majestic Minh Mang mausoleum, the poetic Tu Duc mausoleum, the unique Khai Dinh mausoleum with its Asian-European blend. In addition, Hue also has Thien Mu pagoda, Vong Canh hill, Ngu Binh mountain, each with its own unique, tranquil beauty.
Hue cuisine is also an attractive "heritage". This is a land of sophistication and sophistication, from royal dishes to rustic dishes. Typical dishes such as Hue beef noodle soup, mussel rice, banh beo - nam - loc, banh khoai, and Hue sweet soup are all experiences not to be missed. Hue's flavor is rich but elegant, taken care of in every small detail, like the personality of the ancient capital's people.
Hue is also a paradise for those who love taking photos. The ancient scenery of the Imperial City, the roads covered with yellow leaves in autumn, Truong Tien bridge reflecting on the Perfume River, or Lap An lagoon in the misty early morning are all poetic shooting angles. Especially during the festival season or when Hue wears a purple coat with light rains, every street corner becomes romantic, captivating people.
Hue is not noisy, not hurried, but gentle like a deep song. Traveling to Hue is a journey to find peace of mind, feel the beauty of the past and discover the sophistication of Vietnamese culture. This is a city that makes people come and remember, remember and want to come back many more times.
Thank you very much for taking time to read my post. I hope you enjoy it and have a nice day.
