Hey everyone, first of all I would like to welcome you all to my new post and hope you have a pleasant start to the new week! In my new article, I would like to introduce an interesting blockchain in more detail, which was developed for the travel industry.

As in numerous other branches of the industry, blockchain solutions are becoming more and more interesting and there are some who have recognized the potential and have decided to open up this market a little and I would like to introduce one of these projects to you today. Even if it's generally even more unknown in the crypto universe, over a hundred big names have already decided to join ecosystem and among them are also some names such as Lufthansa, Eurowings or other well-known names within the travel industry. If you would like to learn more about the advantages of the blockchain and the travel industry in general, I would like to suggest this article of mine

in which I have already discussed in more detail and listed the most important points.

The Camino network is made in Switzerland🇨🇭 and the founders have decided to choose the city of Zug as the location, which can be of particular interest to companies in this area. It's a layer 1 blockchain that has focused on decentralizing some important transactions such as payments or other traffic within the blockchain and for this purpose various chains run on the same blockchain, which belong to one ecosystem but differ from the functioning. This diversity as well as the technical possibilities are interesting for numerous types of developments and Camino got its own token which is also known under the abbreviation CAM and supports the system.

The use case must always be mentioned and this is given here in any case because the token is used to process important transactions within the industry and should also be used as its own currency for services. There are some other important functions that in any case include the governance structure and in total there is a limited number of one billion tokens in the entire network and the first tokens were sold in 2024. Only this year CAM was also listed on larger exchanges, but much is probably still in the development phase and within the blockchain a lot is being tested and worked when it comes to the infrastructure.

A milestone that definitely proves the benefit are already over millions of transactions that confirm the growth and there are also numerous Dapps which have been built within the network and not to be neglected are the cooperation with big names such as Swiss Air, Lufthansa, Tui or other significant companies in the travel industry. An important dApp is the Camino Messenger which has an important meaning when it comes to data exchange and I personally know the project for a few months now and if the growth is partly slow, but a lot of work is done behind the scenes and the entire travel industry and blockchain will flourish more and more thanks to projects like this. I will shed more light on similar projects in the future and also write something about @worldmappin which connects the travel industry and the Hive Blockchain.

At the end of this post, I would like to mention that I am not connected with the project, receive no commission or anything else and this should not be an advice for an investment. Here you can find out more about the Blockchain

or join the discord server.
