It depends.

A saying: Works like a horse(Works a.lot) That horse is taking his relaxing time though.
I am a motivational worker, meaning I like working when am motivated. I like and enjoy both, physical and intelectual work, and they both provide a lot of satisfaction in their own different way to me.
Of course, sometimes I don't feel like working at all, being that out of tiredness or any other reason, which doesn't mean those times I'm feeling well or enjoy doing nothing.
I also like having some free time, especially if I have something enjoyable to spend it on.
WEEKEND ENGAGEMENT WEEK 279. TOPICS 2, 3 and 4. (No particular order).
Now, making a choice between leisure or work, strictly depends on how enjoyable the ahead planned activities, being related to one thing or the other , are for me. Just as simple as that.
For example, last weekend, staurday specifically, I was asked to come and work in the night as a support to the staff cause there was an attractive artistic event at work that implied a higher level of operational activity due to more quantity of customers that could end up overloading them and services quality might had been affected. It was my choice, I didn't have to be there, I was gonna get extra paid of course and my job that night didn't have to do anything with the intelectual work I use to do. So, I said yes cause I thought:
- I was gonna be alone at home.
- I had nothing attractive or interesting to do there, so leisure was gonna become a piece of boring unbearable free time.
- I was gonna get paid
- And I was gonna have fun both, working and enjoying the aetisttic event.
So, what the heck!!!? It saturday!!! I'll be there I said. I had a very good time in deed that night.
The same analysis goes for working on weekends or not. There's nothing wrong on working those days when one have nothing better to do or when working will provide joy, money, entertainment, enjoyment and also scare boredom away.
It would be a bitchy situation having to work a weekend when some attractive plans for our free time are waiting.
Moving on.
My body talks to me and I like listening carefully cause some decisions depend on the information I receive from him. Not always I give my body what he asks for though.
Sometimes are nonsenses.
So, being busy on the go generally demands from me and generates at the same time a type of energy I enjoy very much, the kind of energy that makes one feel powerful, unstopable, ready, fit. Having busy weekends on the go ain't different at all. But in matters of preference of having a busy weekend or a quiet relaxing one I use to pay attention to my body and his needs, unless there's some matter of force majeure that requires something that my body does not want to do at the moment.
As far as it goes, this is being a quite weekend but it ain't relaxing for me, so, I don't like it and would prefer to be busy, today my body wants to do nothing, but I would force him to cause I think is the best for both of us, today I need being busy to break this state of anxious lethargy.

Up there. A place I would definitely spend a quite and relaxing weekend.
Quite and relaxing is nice, very nice when that's what one needs and enjoys, otherwise it sucks, the same happens to busy on the go as I see it.
The Washing Machine.

This one isn't mine, and if it was I probably could do it any day of the week cause she washes, dries and does everything by her self, but as it's not and mine isn't up to be pictured and hasn't the tools to wash and dry by her self without me being operating it all time, I have to leave the laundry to the weekends.
