Pink Month...and we continue. / El Mes Rosa...y continuamos.

We continue with Pink Month. This time, the Friends of Women with Breast Cancer Foundation (FAMAC) invited us to participate in a dance therapy event held at La Clínica Paraiso. I arrived at the venue at the appointed time, 10 a.m. I took the opportunity to take a photo in this lovely planter alluding to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, shaped like a bag with a pink ribbon.

Upon arrival, we were given these stickers about the day and month of pink. We were all waiting for the other classmates to arrive who would be attending the activity. We were all excited to see how it would unfold in that small space and what the instructor would be like.

The event was opened by a representative from Clínica Paraiso, who offered a few welcoming remarks and spoke about cancer prevention and the affordable prices offered by some of the tests they offer this month.

The instructor spoke next. Many of the girls already knew her from previous years of activity. She's a very sociable young woman and very professional in what she does. She dances excellently and is very contagious with her spirit, which is essential in these activities. We had a wonderful teacher that day.

The class was great—movement here, movement there, and the music was very varied. Active dynamics to share with classmates. It was a sweaty afternoon; it had been a long time since I'd exercised and sweated this much. As the instructor says, "movement is life," so we all moved our bodies wonderfully.

At the end of the class, we began the photo sessions, both group and individual. It couldn't be missed! Here are all of us who participated in Dance Therapy with Instructor Rina from Team Espinaca.

GIFTS!! We always get gifts at activities. This time, they gave us a handkerchief with the clinic logo to wipe away the sweat, water, black tea, yogurt, and some fans to cool off.

They also raffled off three free mammograms and facials. I was close to getting one, but I'll do it another time.

And finally, a personal photo with the beautiful and very caring instructor. Every day we meet new people who fill our lives with joy.

I thank God first and foremost for giving me the strength to get there and share. I thank the FAMAC Foundation for always caring for their patients and for the love they show us, the Paraiso Clinic for helping to organize this sporting event with other colleagues, and Team Espinaca for their energetic activity, which was transmitted to each and every one of us.

This is my #13 post for the #Hive14Challenge from @hivecreatorsday, the @hivecreators community. Tomorrow, October 19th, the challenge ends and coincides with the FAMAC Foundation's Walk for Life. God willing, I'll be attending this year, and I'm sure I'll be showing you how it went.

Continuamos con el Mes Rosa, esta vez la Fundación de Amigos de la Mujer con Cáncer de Mama (FAMAC) nos hizo el llamado a participar en una Bailoterapia que se realizaría en La Clínica Paraíso. Me llegué hasta el lugar en la hora indicada, 10 de la mañana. Aproveché para tomarme una foto en esta linda jardinera alusiva al mes de la Prevención del Cáncer de Mama en forma de bolsa con lazo rosado.

Al llegar nos regalaron estos stickers sobre el día y el mes rosa. Estábamos todas esperando a que llegaran otro tanto de compañeras que asistirían a la actividad. Todas expectantes de cómo se realizaría en ese pequeño espacio y de cómo sería la instructora.

El evento lo dio por inaugurado una representante de la Clínica Paraíso quien compartió unas palabras de bienvenida y habló sobre la prevención del Cáncer y de que en este mes están en precios económicos algunos de los exámenes que ellos hacen allí.

Luego habló la instructora, muchas chicas ya la conocen de otros años de actividad. Una joven muy sociable y muy profesional en lo que hace. Baila excelente y contagia mucho con su ánimo que es lo primordial en estas actividades. Estupenda maestra la que tuvimos ese día.

La clase fue estupenda, movimiento por aquí, movimiento por allá, la música fue muy variada. Dinámica activa para compartir con las compañeras. Fue una tarde de sudor, tenía mucho tiempo que no hacía ejercicios y que no sudaba tanto. Como dice la instructora: ¨el movimiento es vida¨, así que todas movimos el cuerpo maravillosamente bien.

Al terminar la clase comenzamos con las sesión fotos, grupales e individuales, no podía faltar! Aquí todas las que participamos en la Bailoterapia con la Instructora Rina del Team Espinaca.

LOS REGALOS!! Siempre nos dan obsequios en las actividades. En esta oportunidad nos dieron un pañuelo con el emblema de la clínica para secarnos el sudor, agua, té negro, yogurt y unos abanicos para refrescarnos.

También rifaron 3 exámenes gratis de mamografía y limpieza facial, yo estuve cerca de sacarme uno, en otra oportunidad será.

Y por último una foto personal con la instructora hermosa y muy cariñosa. Todos los días se conoce gente nueva que llenan nuestras vidas de alegría.

Agradezco a Dios primeramente por darme la fuerza de llegar hasta allá y compartir. Agradezco a la Fundación FAMAC por estar siempre pendientes de sus pacientes y por tanto cariño que nos brindan, a la Clínica Paraíso por ayudar a hacer este evento para un compartir deportivo con otras compañeras y al Team Espinaca por su actividad con tanta energía y que fue transmitida hacia cada una de nosotras.

Mañana 19 de Octubre termina el reto y coincide con la Caminata por la Vida de la Fundación FAMAC, con el favor de Dios este año si asistiré y de seguro les estaré mostrando cómo fue esta actividad.
