Food Trip Part 2 | Vietnamese Food

Happy Sunday, dear Hivers! As a food enthusiast, I always look for new cuisines when eating out to add more excitement in my meals. Surely, there are disappointments at times but more importantly, it makes the experience more memorable.
Phat Pho is famous for Vietnamese foods here in the Philippines. We decided to dine here since the place is very convenient for meet ups and I haven't tasted their famous Pho yet.
Lately, i've been curious on different cultures of the world and the most attainable way of getting to know them is thru their cuisines. Judging from their branding, i think of Vietnamese food as a mixture of Thai, Indian, and Chinese cuisines since it uses lots of herbs and spices.
Most of their menus have spicy flavors too. My date and I couldn't decide on what to order so we asked the friendly staff on their specialty. One thing that we have to try for sure is their Pho. So we ordered a bowl of Bun Bo Hue, a spicy variation of their Pho, and a classic Banh Mi sandwich. For the drinks, I thought of ordering hot tea but then the staff said that they only have it in normal tea bags. So we opted for water instead.
Their serving time is quite long but at last, foods were served! True to their theme, the Pho was truly spicy that we have to request for tissue as our nose started to get runny. The Bahn Mi is surprisingly huge though and can be enough for two people.
Lastly, the interior of this restaurant is rich in Vietnamese culture and heritage. The theme of their wall paper must be inspired from the busy streets of Vietnam. I hope to visit Vietnam someday and get to know the country better.
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
Sending some hugs and kisses
Love, Jane
