Mini work at the paddock

I have now spent four weeks for my training, spent two weeks at the rabbitary and I have also spent two weeks at the goat section.

Now,for this week I have moved to the cattle section , the breed is actually the muturu cattle breeds , they are rarely found in Nigeria but they have it in this institute.

They are usually not big in size and they some times hornless and they generally don't have hunched backs. Unfortunately, I don't have their pictures and the reason is because they do take them out for grazing and most time the work I carry out is the removal and throwing away of their faeces.

As you can see in the picture I am with the wheelbarrow trying to dispose their faeces (cow dung) at the other side of the building that was at the front of me.

I can say the work is even harder than every other sections I have worked in. The smell of the cow dung alone can land a human being in the hospital. But yeah, it is something I decided to go for in the university and I just have to carry out this task for me to get prepared for the future. Even the guy that was taking pictures of me couldn't stay very close to me because of the odour, but there I am serving looks and taking poses with the odour 🤣 .

Personally, I feel the agricultural institute didn't get the right place for the cattles to stay and that has made the job difficult for me and the workers.

Hopefully by next week, I will be following the workers out for cattle grazing and I will post the different pictures here again.
