Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. My family and I had a trip to Mae Ai District. On this trip, my wife and I took her mother and our granddaughter to a temple on a mountain. This temple is called Wat Phra That Sop Fang. Wat Phra That Sop Fang is an ancient and important temple. Although this temple is small, but this temple is a temple that is very respect by local Buddhists. Especially Buddhists in Chai Prakan District, Fang District and Mae Ai District.

A brief history of Wat Phra That Sop Fang.
Wat Phra That Sop Fang is an ancient temple that is more than 1300 years old. This temple was once a deserted temple. And the temple was first renovated in AD 1933, or 92 years ago. Later in AD 1989 or 36 years ago, the temple was renovated again. And has been restored until now.

Vibe inside Wat Phra That Sop Fang.
We will take friends to see the vibe in this temple. Even though there is not much area. Start with the pagoda in the temple first. An ancient pagoda over 1300 years old that has been restored until now. This pagoda is important and respected by Buddhists because inside this pagoda there are Buddha's relics. The large gold color pagoda looks beautiful. There are many Buddha images around the pagoda.

The ordination hall (ubosot), The small ordination hall (ubosot) is built in Lanna art style. I have no information about when this ordination hall (ubosot) was built. But this ordination hall (ubosot) should be an old ordination hall (ubosot).

A small pavilion near the pagoda. Inside this pavilion is a gold color Buddha image in the attitude of subduing Mara, Look beautiful.

Large pavilion, inside the large pavilion there are many small Buddha images.

This temple also has a viewpoint. It is nature and villages views fram a mountain lookout. You can see farms, mountains, the kok river (the main river that is an important river for local farmers), villages and Wat Thaton (another famous and respect temple). It is another viewpoint that we like. Besides the nice view, it is also cool. My family and I really enjoyed it. And we spent a long time at this viewpoint.

This area also has gongs and bells.

Other areas are buildings and pavilions for monks and religious ceremonies. And the section containing the monks' living quarters. Which I didn't take photos. These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Please forgive any errors/mistakes. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
