It's time to harvest the betel nuts in the home garden, another cash crop for my family.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. In this post, I will take friends to my home garden again. This week is my family's betel nut harvest week. In my home garden there are four betel nut plants. My family and I grow betel nut to sell. Although now local people want less betel nuts than in the past. And in my garden there are only 4 betel nut plants. But these betel nut plants are also another cash crop for my family. Two days ago, my wife's mother and wife started harvesting betel nuts in the garden. They planned to harvest betel nuts only one tree in a day. After harvesting the betel nuts, so they are cut betel nuts. And tie up betel nuts together with a rope. They spent two days cutting and tying the betel nuts together. Then take these betel nuts are dried in the sun for about 3-4 days until betel nuts dry. When betel nuts are dry, we can sell them at the wet market or sell them to traders.

The vibe of harvesting, cutting, tying the betel nuts together and take these betel nuts are dried in the sun 1-2 days ago. My wife harvested betel nuts from a tree near the home first.

After harvesting the betel nuts, we started cutting and tying them with the rope two days ago and yesterday too.

Gradually take the cut and tied betel nuts to dry them in the sun.

It rained all day today, so we didn't harvest betel nuts from the second betel nut tree.

Near large betel nut trees, there are small betel nut trees growing. These small betel nut trees have more than 10 trees. When these small betel nut tree grow taller, we will move from our home garden to the longan orchard (different area). We will have more betel nuts to sell in the future.
