Milky Way over the Belianske Tatras
On the night of May 1st, 2024, from Łapszanka Pass, I had one of those rare moments when everything aligns perfectly — clear air, no wind, and a sky untouched by light pollution. The Milky Way stretched directly above the peaks of the Belianske Tatras, forming a stunning arc over the dark mountain silhouette. Thousands of stars filled the sky, and the quiet of the night made the entire scene feel almost unreal.
Nights like this remind me how powerful and peaceful the mountains can be, especially when the night sky becomes an extension of the landscape itself.
