My Progress on Genesis League Goals

I shared my progress and experience in my first tournament played.

Today I return to share my gaming activity and progress on this football-themed game because I played a second tournament and because registration is open for the GLS Regional Tournament starting on 14 September.

Genesis League Goals is a game that has not had the expected success, which is why the development team announced several months ago that they would like to create a totally different game based on sports predictions.

The implementation of this prediction market game could give a second chance and a second life to the assets (NFTs and tokens) of Genesis League Goals but there is still no release date for this new game mode and there are no recent updates on this development goal.

Although Genesis League Goals has many aspects to improve, it is still an active player vs player game that can be played in manual mode or in passive mode using the Auto-Play feature.

I play in Auto Play mode and in the next pictures you can see my two teams:

Hiventus: Tier: Regional - Rating: 1654 - Fans: 6056.
hiventus2: Tier: Local - Rating: 1530 - Fans: 5632

I play in auto play mode because the current gameplay is not very fun for me while I had a lot of fun playing tournaments.

In my opinion, tournament mode is the mode to focus on in the next steps of development, while trying to make the current tournament management easier for players by taking the Splinterlands tournaments as a model.

The first tournament I played was the GLS Solo Tournament.
In this tournament I finished in 6th place out of 13 players.

Thanks to 11 wins, 5 draws and 8 losses I received this prize:

8000 GLX
70 GMLSPA packs

The second tournament I played in was the GLS Local Tournament.
In this tournament my results were worse than in the first tournament because I came 8th out of 10 players.

Thanks to 5 wins, 9 draws and 4 losses, I received this prize:

4000 GLX
40 GMLSPA packs

By participating in two tournaments, I received a total of

12000 GLX
110 GMLSPA packs

Today (11 September 2025) 12000 GLX are worth:

My current goal on Genesis League Goals is to play all the tournaments in order to accumulate GLX to staking and GMLSPA packs to open to upgrade my NFTs so I can be more competitive in the next tournaments I play.

Today I signed up for the GLS Regional Tournament, the next tournament starting on 14 September at 6:00 AM CEST and ending at midnight on 21 September.

If you have NFT of Genesis League Goal I suggest you to participate because at the time of writing this post there are only 7 players registered while there are 20 prizes to be won.

Note however that in order to receive the prizes you need to play a minimum of games and therefore it is not enough to sign up to receive the prizes even if at the time the tournament starts there will be more prizes than the number of participants in the tournament.

In my previous post I showed the NFTs I found in the 70 GMLSPA packs I received as a prize for participating in the first tournament.

Today I also opened the 40 GMLSPA packs I received as a prize for participating in the second tournament.

To open the GMLSPAs I went to the COLLECTION->PACKS section and clicked on Open.

On the next screen I entered the number of GMLSPA packs to open and then clicked Open.

I chose not to buy Scout Pass because there is not much demand for cards on the market and because I will only return to invest in the game if there are improvements and developments.

In the next images you can see the 200 NFTs I found in the 40 GMLSPA packs.

I would have liked to find three copies of Drew Dribbles because that way I could have upgraded this coach to level 5.

In fact, level 5 is reached by combining 15 NFTs and I have Drew Dribbles cards for a total of 12 BCX.

I can already upgrade some of my player cards to level 5 but it is the level of the coach that determines the maximum level of player cards that can be used in the game so I will only upgrade my player cards when I have a level 5 coach.

Today I put up for sale the coach cards that I do not use in the game.
If I manage to sell these NFTs I will use the earnings to buy more Drew Dribbles and Georgina Talewind which are the two coaches I use in the game.

The tournaments are a lot of fun although the mechanism is a bit complicated because:

you need to agree beforehand with the players on Discord on when to play.
then you need to create a challenge on Genesis League Goals and invite the player
after the match you must post the result screenshots in the Tournaments channel of the Genesis League Goals discord server and one of the players must update the results on https://challonge.com/.

ho condiviso i miei progressi e la mia esperienza nel mio primo torneo giocato.

Oggi torno a condividere la mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi su questo gioco a tema calcistico perchè ho giocato un secondo torneo e perchè sono aperte le iscrizioni per il GLS Regional Tournament che inizierà il 14 settembre.

Genesis League Goals è un gioco che non ha avuto il successo previsto e per questo motivo il team di sviluppo, diversi mesi fa, ha annunciato la volontà di creare un gioco totalmente diverso basato sui pronostici sportivi.

L'implementazione di questo prediction market game potrebbe dare una seconda chance e una seconda vita agli assets (NFT e tokens) di Genesis League Goals ma non c'è ancora una data di rilascio per questa nuova modalità di gioco ed è da diversi mesi che non ci sono aggiornamenti su questo tema.

Anche se Genesis League Goals ha molti aspetti da migliorare è un gioco player vs player ancora attivo e giocabile in modalità manuale oppure in modalità passiva tramite l'utilizzo della funzionalità Auto-Play.

Io gioco in modalità Auto Play e nelle prossime immagini puoi vedere le mie due squadre:

Gioco in modalità auto play perchè il gameplay attuale non è molto divertente per me mentre mi sono divertito molto a giocare i tornei.

Secondo me la modalità torneo è la modalità su cui puntare nei prossimi step di sviluppo cercando però di rendere l'attuale gestione dei tornei più semplice per i giocatori magari in stile Splinterlands.

Il primo torneo a cui ho giocato è stato il GLS Solo Tournament.
In questo torneo mi sono classificato al sesto posto su 13 giocatori.

Il mio obiettivo attuale su Genesis League Goals è cercare di giocare a tutti i tornei in modo da accumulare GLX e GMLSPA packs da aprire per fare l'upgrade dei miei NFT in modo da essere più competitivo nei prossimi tornei che giocherò.

Oggi mi sono iscritto al GLS Regional Tournament, il prossimo torneo che inizierà il 14 settembre alle ore 6:00 AM CEST e terminerà alla mezzanotte del 21 settembre.

Se hai NFT di Genesis League Goal ti consiglio di partecipare perchè nel momento in cui scrivo questo post ci sono solo 7 giocatori iscritti mentre i premi da vincere sono 20.

Nota però che per ricevere i premi è necessario giocare un minimo di partite e quindi non basta isciversi per ricevere i premi anche nel caso in cui nel momento di inizio del torneo ci saranno più premi rispetto al numero dei partecipanti al torneo.

Nel mio precedente post ho mostrato gli NFT che ho trovato nei 70 GMLSPA packs che ho ricevuto come premio per aver partecipato al primo torneo.

Oggi ho aperto anche i 40 GMLSPA che ho ricevuto come premio per aver partecipato al secondo torneo.

Per aprire i GMLSPA sono andato nella sezione COLLECTION->PACKS e ho cliccato su Open.

Nella schermata successiva ho inserito il numero di GMLSPA packs da aprire e poi ho cliccato su Open.

Ho scelto di non acquistare Scout Pass perchè non c'è molta richiesta di carte sul mercato e perchè ritornerò ad investire nel gioco solo se ci saranno miglioramenti e sviluppi.

Nelle prossime immagini puoi vedere i 200 NFT che ho trovato nei 40 GMLSPA packs.

Mi sarebbe piaciuto trovare tre copie di Drew Dribbles perchè in questo modo avrei potuto portare questo allenatore al livello 5.

Infatti il livello 5 è raggiungibile combinando 15 NFT e io ho carte Drew Dribbles per un totale di 12 BCX.

Posso già fare l'upgrade al livello 5 di alcune mie carte giocatore ma è il livello dell'allenatore che stabilisce il massimo livello utilizzabile in gioco e quindi farò l'upgrade delle mie carte giocatore solo quando avrò un allenatore di livello 5.

Oggi ho messo in vendita le carte allenatore che non utilizzo nel gioco.
Se riuscirò a vendere questi NFT utilizzerò i guadagni per acquistare altre copie di Drew Dribbles e di Georgina Talewind che sono i due allenatori che uso nel gioco.

Nella prossima immagine puoi vedere il quantitativo di NFT necessario per aumentare il livello delle carte.

I tornei sono molto divertenti anche se il meccanismo è un pò complicato perchè:

è necessario accordarsi prima con i giocatori su Discord sul quando giocare.

poi è necessario creare una challenge su Genesis League Goals e invitare il giocatore

dopo la partita è necessario pubblicare gli screenshots del risultato nel canale Tournaments del server discord di Genesis League Goals e uno dei giocatori deve aggiornare i risultati su https://challonge.com/.
