My Moon Kart Progress & Analysis of My Results in Season 36:

178 Races Played and 40575 COLONY Earned!

It is several months that I play and have fun on

which is a Hive-based arcade race game that is part of the games featured on the

platform.

In this post I share my progress and **analysis of my results in season 36 which is the last completed season on Moon Karts.

On Moon Karts there are three reward mechanisms:

a reward in COLONY tokens for every single race but only for players who finish in the first two positions.
Ranked Leaderboard = seasonal reward mechanism based on rating/ranking points
In each race all players earn ranking points according to this division:
- 1st place: +10 Ranking points
- 2nd place: +8 Ranking points
- 3rd place: +6 Ranking points
- 4th place: +4 Ranking points
- 5th place: +2 Ranking points
- 6th place: +1 Ranking point

Orbitals Leaderboard = seasonal reward mechanism based on orbitals points
In each race there are six orbitals along the track and to earn orbitals points you must collect at least 2 orbitals.
The amount of orbitals points earned in each race also depends on the type and rarity of the NFTs that make up the Kart Preset.

The COLONY token rewards for individual races and the Ranked Leaderboard are influenced by the staking factor = the amount of COLONY tokens staked which defines a bonus multiplier based on the rating score.

On Moon Karts, seasons have a duration of 10 days and the last completed season was season 36 which ended just over two days ago.

On Moon Karts there is no section, like on Splinterlands, that allows you to see the results of all players in the season prior to the current one, and for this reason I took screenshots of all the positions of the two leaderboards when there were about three hours left until the end of the season.

In season 36:

Ranked Leaderboard: 28 players
Orbitals Leaderboard: 21 players

After two seasons in which I played few matches in season 36 I got back into a good rhythm of play.

Starting in season 33 I began to take note

of the number of races I play in each season
of the rating points earned after each race
of my final placement in each race
the amount of Orbitals and Colony collected in each race.

In season 36 I used this Kart Preset:

Kart: Arachno Eclipse
Driver: Drift
Accessories: Flex Edge, Jet Flow, Grip Ease
Tech Cards: Reinforced Body, Tire Upgrade, Engine Enhancement
Fuel Consumption: 260.2 (first 10 races)

This Kart Preset allows me to earn a maximum of 20K Orbital Points if:

I finish first in the race
I collect 6 Orbitals along the track

I started and finished the season with 525005.43 COLONY staked.
During season 36 I played 178 races.

In the first race:

I arrived first
I collected 3 orbitals and 4 colony along the course (in-game items that do not correspond to COLONY tokens)
I earned 3 COLONY.

In the 178th race:

I finished first
I collected 4 orbitals and 6 colony along the course
I earned 32 COLONY.

Considering only the rewards won in the individual races I earned a total of 2845 COLONY.

In season 36 my final results in the two leaderboards were:

6th place in the Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 28810 COLONY (previous season: 7th place: 7622 COLONY)
8th place in the Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 8920 COLONY (previous season: 15th place: 6229 COLONY)

I have summarised my total seasonal results in a table that you can see in the next image.

Based on the market value (Highest Bid) of the

tokens and based on the market value of the HIVE token ($0.204), I calculated the value in SWAP.HIVE and dollars of the seasonal reward I received for playing in season 36.

Adding up all the rewards I earned (races + leaderboards) I received a total seasonal reward of 40575 COLONY = 28.29 SWAP.HIVE = $5.77

Thanks to the rewards I earned from playing in seasons 36 and 35 (leaderboards + races) and thanks to the COLONY tokens I earned from daily airdrops for

stakeholder and

stakeholder two days ago I added +54914.67 COLONY to my stake.

I now have 557920.10 COLONY staked.

I made progress towards my accumulation goal related to staked COLONY tokens: 1 Million COLONY staked
Percentage completion of my goal: 52.50% -> 57.99%.

In the current season (season 37) I have played 26 races but my goal is to play at least 200 races to improve my game results and also the rewards I got during season 36.

In questo post condivido i miei progressi e l'**analisi dei miei risultati nella stagione 36 che è l'ultima stagione conclusa su Moon Karts.

Su Moon Karts ci sono tre meccanismi di ricompensa:

una ricompensa in token COLONY per ogni singola corsa ma solo per i giocatori che terminano nelle prime due posizioni.
Ranked Leaderboard = meccanismo di ricompensa stagionale basato sui rating points
In ogni corsa tutti i giocatori guadagnano rating points secondo questa divisione:
- 1° posto: +10 Rating points
- 2° posto: +8 Rating points
- 3° posto: +6 Rating points
- 4° posto: +4 Rating points
- 5° posto: +2 Rating points
- 6° posto: +1 Rating point

Orbitals Leaderboard = meccanismo di ricompensa stagionale basato sui punti orbitals
In ogni corsa ci sono sei orbitals lungo il percorso e per guadagnare punti orbitals è necessario raccogliere almeno 2 orbitals.
Il quantitativo di punti orbitals guadagnato in ogni corsa dipende anche dalla tipologia e dalla rarità degli NFT che costituiscono il Kart Preset.

Le ricompense in token COLONY relative alle singole corse e alla Ranked Leaderboard sono influenzate dallo staking factor = il quantitativo di token COLONY staked che definisce un bonus multiplier in base al punteggio di rating.

Su Moon Karts le stagioni hanno una durata di 10 giorni e l'ultima stagione conclusa è stata la stagione 36 che è terminata poco più di due giorni fa.

Su Moon Karts non c'è una sezione, come su Splinterlands, che permette di vedere i risultati di tutti i giocatori nella stagione precedente a quella in corso e per questo motivo ho fatto degli screenshots di tutte le posizioni delle due leaderboards quando mancavano circa tre ore alla fine della stagione.

Nella stagione 36:

Ranked Leaderboard: 28 giocatori
Orbitals Leaderboard: 21 giocatori

Dopo due stagioni in cui ho giocato poche gare nella stagione 36 ho ripreso un buon ritmo di gioco.

A partire dalla stagione 33 ho iniziato a prendere nota:

del numero di corse che gioco in ogni stagione
dei punti di rating guadagnati dopo ogni corsa
del mio posizionamento finale nella corsa
del quantitativo di Orbitals e Colony raccolti in ogni corsa.

Nella stagione 36 ho utilizzato questo Kart Preset:

Questo Kart Preset mi permette di guadagnare un massimo di 20K Orbital Points se:

arrivo primo nella corsa
raccolgo 6 Orbitals lungo il percorso

Ho iniziato e concluso la stagione con 525005.43 COLONY staked.
Durante la stagione 33 ho giocato 178 corse.

Nella prima corsa:

sono arrivato primo
ho raccolto 3 orbitals e 4 colony lungo il percorso (in-game items che non corrispondono ai COLONY tokens)
ho guadagnato 3 COLONY

Nella 178ma corsa:

sono arrivato primo
ho raccolto 4 orbitals e 6 colony lungo il percorso
ho guadagnato 32 COLONY

Considerando solo le ricompense vinte nelle singole gare ho guadagnato in totale 2845 COLONY.

Nella stagione 36 i miei risultati finali nelle due leaderboards sono stati:

6° posto nella Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 28810 COLONY (stagione precedente: 7° posto: 7622 COLONY)
8° posto nella Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 8920 COLONY (stagione precedente: 15° posto: 6229 COLONY)

Ho sintetizzato i miei risultati totali stagionali in una tabella che puoi vedere nella prossima immagine.

In base al valore di mercato (Highest Bid) dei token

e in base al valore di mercato del token HIVE (0.204$) ho calcolato il valore in SWAP.HIVE e in dollari della ricompensa stagionale che ho ricevuto per aver giocato nella stagione 36.

Sommando tutte le ricompense che ho guadagnato (races + leaderboards) ho ricevuto una ricompensa stagionale totale di 40575 COLONY = 28.29 SWAP.HIVE = 5.77$

Grazie alle ricompense che ho guadagnato giocando nelle stagioni 36 e 35 (leaderboards + corse) e grazie ai token COLONY che ho guadagnato dall'airdrop giornaliero come

stakeholder e

stakeholder due giorni fa ho aggiunto +54914.67 COLONY al mio stake.

Ho fatto dei passi in avanti verso il mio obiettivo di accumulo relativo ai token COLONY in staking: 1 Milione di COLONY staked: 52.50% -> 57.99%

Nella stagione in corso (stagione 37) ho giocato 26 corse ma il mio obiettivo è giocare almeno 200 corse per migliorare i miei risultati di gioco e anche le ricompense che ho ottenuto durante la stagione 36.
