Lunar Eclipse 2025 From My Lens

「 Chasing the Blood Moon in A Windy Day 」
It’s a bit of a craze when the lunar eclipse happened the other day. This is one of those events that’s pretty rare and the lunar eclipse that can be seen in Asia. This time around the moon turns red and what makes this special, this one has a long totality compared to the other cycle of the moon.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to take in the redness of the moon. I was only able to take pre-eclipse. At first the moon was looking like this.
I was also checking out the livestream from the local's telescope with timing that showed when it gets red. The eclipse itself can be seen with naked eye and I don't even need to get into the balcony. I was on the alleyway with my mother waiting for the eclipse to happen.
This is when the eclipse was about to start with the shadow slowly creeping up the moon. You can see on the right and then, from there we waited for another 30 minutes before another phase starts.
It was so windy where I was at and I could see my lens swaying left and right unable to focus. Since I also have to look up, I got a neck strain. The moon was slowly covered and until it was close to the full eclipse, which unfortunately, I wasn't able to capture it fully.
From my camera, during the full moon it was looking like this from my camera. The picture quality is too poor because my lens were swaying left and right. So, I couldn't really get a clear reddish moon just like others shared around here.
But, I am really happy that I didn't miss this event since it's one-of-a-kind experience. In the end, I also experienced it with my mom. There were some of like double blurry moon pictures that I took as well. Like this one below, I ended up with three red moon 😂
Apparently, according to local beliefs, lunar eclipse could be a sign of a disaster or something bad. Though for some people, this lunar eclipse could be a sign for a good luck. To me, it's just a happy occasion because I didn't miss this event that only happens once in a few years.
