Good evening, blog friends, as I mentioned, I've been away for a while now because I've been taking several trips nearby. One of them was a bit tiring because I'm not used to walking much, but it was worth it. We visited a magnificent place with some friends: the route through the mountains between Pistoia and the Bologna area, which leads to one of the most famous lakes in the area, the Black Lake, so called because its waters are said to create dark reflections. It's a small gem surrounded by mountains, accessible via trails of all levels of difficulty. The mountains surrounding the lake are called the Alpe delle Tre Potenze (Three Powers Alps), and they are mountain ranges that can be very steep in winter. The entire area is located in the Val di Luce (Light Valley), and to get to where we arrived, the Hannibal Pass, it takes about 3-4 hours without stopping if you take some of the trails. We're not very fit, so we drove as close as we could and then continued on foot.

The trails are accessible and clean. In Val di Luce, there are many panoramic spots from which to take photos of the lake. It's a valley that extends along the entire Abetone territory, surrounded by mountains that make the panorama truly unique and magnificent. In addition to the Black Lake, if you continue along the route and cross one of the passes, you'll also find the Flat Lake and other beautiful mountain areas.

Buenas noches, amigos del blog. Como ya comenté, he estado fuera un tiempo porque he estado haciendo varias excursiones por la zona. Una de ellas fue un poco agotadora, ya que no suelo caminar mucho, pero valió la pena. Visitamos un lugar magnífico con unos amigos: la ruta que atraviesa las montañas entre Pistoia y la zona de Bolonia, que lleva a uno de los lagos más famosos de la zona, el Lago Negro, llamado así porque se dice que sus aguas crean reflejos oscuros. Es una pequeña joya rodeada de montañas, accesible por senderos de todos los niveles de dificultad. Las montañas que rodean el lago se llaman Alpe delle Tre Potenze (Alpes de las Tres Potencias) y son cordilleras que pueden ser muy empinadas en invierno.

Toda la zona se encuentra en el Val di Luce (Valle de la Luz), y para llegar a donde llegamos, el Paso de Aníbal, se necesitan unas 3 o 4 horas sin parar si se toman algunos senderos. No estábamos muy en forma, así que condujimos lo más cerca posible y luego continuamos a pie. Los senderos son accesibles y están limpios. En Val di Luce, hay muchos puntos panorámicos desde los que fotografiar el lago. Es un valle que se extiende por todo el territorio de Abetone, rodeado de montañas que hacen que el panorama sea verdaderamente único y magnífico. Además del Lago Negro, si continúa la ruta y cruza uno de los puertos, también encontrará el Lago Flat y otras hermosas zonas montañosas.

Unfortunately, I only have a few photos, and they're not the quality I like. I had to use my husband's phone because I forgot mine in the car. We need to get back soon because I prefer my camera to his, and I feel freer to take tons of photos. However, I still captured the beauty of these places, a green paradise much loved by hikers. There are also some refuges where you can eat or rest. Many people also come to the lake to camp, and I have to say it's not a bad idea. If I buy a tent, I'd love it too. Anyway, the lake is very beautiful and, above all, full of these strange animals called alpine newts, which I loved.

The air was really clean and you could breathe easily, especially since we were several meters above sea level. It's a place I'd like to explore with a base there because there are many trails within my reach that I'd like to do, or I'd like to start training and gradually choose more difficult trails, but certainly with breathtaking views!

Lamentablemente, solo tengo unas pocas fotos y no son de la calidad que me gusta. Tuve que usar el teléfono de mi esposo porque olvidé el mío en el auto. Tenemos que volver pronto porque prefiero mi cámara a la suya y me siento más libre para tomar un montón de fotos. Aun así, capturé la belleza de estos lugares, un paraíso verde muy apreciado por los senderistas. También hay algunos refugios donde se puede comer o descansar. Mucha gente también viene al lago a acampar, y debo decir que no es mala idea.

Si compro una tienda de campaña, también me encantaría. En fin, el lago es precioso y, sobre todo, está lleno de estos extraños animales llamados tritones alpinos, que me encantaron. El aire estaba realmente limpio y se respiraba con facilidad, sobre todo porque estábamos a varios metros sobre el nivel del mar. Es un lugar que me gustaría explorar con base allí porque hay muchos senderos a mi alcance que me gustaría hacer, o me gustaría empezar a entrenar y poco a poco elegir senderos más difíciles, ¡pero sin duda con vistas impresionantes!
