Hope you all are doing great!
In today鈥檚 blog, I鈥檓 gonna take you guys with me on a journey to a cold desert. A desert situated so Remote in the inner Himalayas that very few people visit here every year. So we were at Chattru, which is the small or negligible village in Spiti Valley with about two campsites present there for the people who are tracking in the remote regions of the Himalayas.

The condition of the road is really bad and the road is for the name only as you can see in the photographs as well, but luckily the only bridge connecting the right bank to the left bank of the river has now been restored.

Not restored, but a new bridge has been built there parallel to the old one so that the old one could also be used in case of emergency, but the old one was on the verge of breakage. So the new bridge was built as you can see in the photographs.

Now that we were on the other side of the valley, the condition of the road started to become a little bit. Good. The construction of the road was still going on there, and they were very less potholes and stones on the road as compared to our previous journey.

After crossing the bridge, we were now at such a beautiful place that was only imaginable in the dreams. It was a place full of mountains and rivers along with a lot of waterfalls and greenery that one can see only in movies.

Just look at the photographs and see for yourself. Have you ever seen such a place or imagine such a place when you think about India? Yes, this place is situated in India only, but the image of India is completely different when we think about it from a largest perspective.

Just after travelling for a couple minutes, we were not able to see the construction machines actively working on the road. Because of those machines, only the condition of the road was a little bit better than the first phase of the valley.

You can only imagine how difficult it is to construct roads in such a difficult environment and harsh weather conditions at so much altitude above sea level that it becomes hard to breathe. I am really thankful to all the people who actively work to provide such dangerous services for us.

Because of the hard work of these people, only, we are able to visit this beautiful place, otherwise it could have been easily taken weeks to reach here on foot.

It was around 3 PM in the evening, and the sun was down here. With each passing minute, the temperature started to drop and we were expecting it to go around -5 to 6掳 during the night time. We were a little bit worried about our stay for the night as here. There are no mobile network providers which provide the internet coverage so we could not book in advance so it was a kind of adventure for us to see and imagine what we could have.

But we still had a long way to go before we take a halt in the campsite, so we stopped worrying and focused on enjoying the views rather than worrying about the night. Stay. The worst case scenario was sleeping in the car and we all were open for that as well, so it was not at all a thing to worry.

Thinking about this, we all focus more on the views rather mesmerising views. I must say that were around us, and I have also captured a lot of photographs for you guys to see what we were seeing at that time.

That is it for today, thank you all for passing by.
Peace 鈽笍
