Work (and Life) Last Week....

I thought I might do a little journaling on Hive this week, just 'cos I'm in the mood and it's Saturday morning and I've got the time, OFC this will be somewhat redacted as I don't want to share too many personal details...

NB I don't actually want to blog about my personal life as such, sometimes I feel like that, but rarely, however I'm more than happy to blog about work issues, which I don't really regard as personal, because it's not private, it's out there in the public domain...

Obvs I need to be careful to not breach GDPR so I can't really go into any actual details of any cases, just blog about work in the abstract...

Although now I'm talking this through I'm kind of wondering what the point of that this, but anyway let's see...

Work Last Week...

Well I spent most of Monday and then a fair bit of time Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday and all day Friday doing casework... nothing particularly interesting, not that it matters as I can't share details anyway obvs, but just a lot of catching up.

I'm wondering if I've got too much workload for the hours I work, I'm painfully aware that every email I send could potentially elicit a response.... and that's more time.

Or maybe I'm still catching up after a couple of days off last month, they are fatal, it be nice to be able to get ahead of the curve.....

I also started my SEO improvement journey, I took out subs to Rank Math which is quite cheap and then SEMRUSH which isn't, but I figure I can use the tools on the later to resolve the biggest problem on my site and then just unsubscribe and apply the lessons I've learned using free tools.

That's the plan anyway, thus far I'm impressed with SEMRUSH the problem is I'm not 100% sure how to use it.

The biggest challenge going forwards is going to be to stay focussed and just do the basic work... I think I have most of the content I need my SEO mission is mainly going to be about improving site structure by improving the internal linking, repurposing duplicate content to related but different keywords and no-indexing some of the really weak content.

I've got a plan!
