DAILY LIFE STORY: "Instant Noodles with Cabbage & Egg"

Every morning, it is really a challenge for us to think of what to eat. We could have some fried rice and cook frozen goods, like hotdog, ham, and sausage. But there are times when we are not into eating rice early in the morning. Like a bread and coffee would be enough. This morning was different. We are looking for something spicy, and at the same time, heavy. We need to get our tummies full to start a productive day.

While thinking of what to eat, we saw some eggs and cabbage in the refrigerator. The first thought was to cook egg omelet. But we wanted something that would spice up our breakfast. Until we came up with the idea of having some instant noodles, and adding cabbage and egg as toppings and side dish.

We bought the noodles in the nearest local grocery store here in our place and cooked them right away. While waiting, we also cooked the eggs and stir fried the cabbage. When everything was ready, we just mixed the cabbage with the instant noodles and add more seasoning for it to be tastier. And then, we put the egg as the toppings.

As you can see, it looked really delicious and we truly enjoyed this simple breakfast. We would definitely cook it again once there’s some leftover cabbage. It was tasty and flavorful – more perfect when partnered with some egg, and a hot coffee in the morning.
