When I was little, I walked to school. The distance I traveled was quite long, about a kilometer. The scenery along the way was mostly houses, interspersed with small fields.

When it rained, I'd hear frogs croaking. Perhaps they were performing a chorus accompanied by frog ballet. The rainy season is a favorite of frogs. They'd sing, rejoicing with all kinds of sounds. The males would compete to produce their most beautiful sounds to attract females.

These days, I rarely hear frogs singing their harmonious songs. I don't know where they went. Are they still dancing somewhere? Perhaps their presence has begun to be displaced by the increasing development. What a pity, you frogs!
