Oceanarium | A Deep Travel into the Ocean and its Inhabitants

Buying books is certainly one of the many things that was in my mind when I started to teach again. It is a bliss of a different type for people who like to read in general. However I wanted to get my hands into something that was both nice to read and aestheticly pleasing for my eyes.
There is this series of books on different aspects of Earth and the universe. The series goes with names in Latin. I got one that I found interesting. It is called Oceanarium. It is an illustrated book about the Ocean. It goes from its smallest animals to many other aspects.
It is the kind of book you would use to teach children about the mysteries of the big blue. Every illustration takes your breath away and the prose is written in a easy-to-digest fashion.
The book itself is a piece of art. It has markers and guards that were made with care. The paper is of the best quality and the hard cover has some nice details that catch your eye and does not want you to look away.
The only complain I have about it is that it does not have many illustrations of octopi. These are some of my favorite animals in the world and I can only see one in the cover and during the book's introduction. There are some other books of this type available. I am considering buying the Botanicum or the Planetarium. That would depend on the mood when I get enough money to purchase one again.
I consider either of them would make a great addition to my bookshelf.
