It’s Wednesday 😏……….My Actifit Report Card: November 19 2025

Sunrise in Everson Washington as I arrived for work today.
It was a typical Wednesday-fully booked and lots of details the Monday-Tuesday person wouldn’t/couldn’t handle. My laptop was literally wallpapered with sticky notes and my box full of files needing something or other. Then the weirdness set in.
There was a mystery box with uncut optical lenses in it. We don’t have a lab in house to edge lenses, so not our box. I put it aside. Then the courier arrived with our bag-or so I thought until I discovered that it too was someone else’s optical shop! How odd-2 different labs with the same issue. So I put it aside to give to the courier in the morning when he stops back by.
Then, UPS made their delivery. Nope-not more of the same. However, the lab this box belonged to, had returned a ‘defective’ frame they said had broken when they touched it. When I opened it up their idea of a broken nose pad wire was in fact a nose pad missing a screw! I’d already cancelled the order as I had another avenue to get the job done for the patient-but seriously?! They couldn’t figure that out? It lost them the job and I have a phone call to make tomorrow to the account manager as to how this could have possibly happened! 🙄 I must be in the Twilight Zone!
Add that to not being 100% due to finishing out whatever bug I had and you might say I’m just done with all this! The list goes on as it never seems I’ve got enough of me to go around. My best qualified coworker is gone for the balance of the week and my other 2 can’t make it in to help out. So whereas Thursday could be busy as there’s a lot to do tomorrow- Friday will be busier as I’m by myself on a fully loaded day. 😅 Pray for me if you will! 🙏😇

I’m still waiting to see if they are going to let me out of jury duty next week. I’m not sure how it can work out with work given no one knows how to do anything with insurance or orders. 🧐 It could get interesting……
