WEEKS SHOULD END.

Before now I didn’t care how long I was working or what time I slept after working. I was just all about getting the job done. I would wake up as early as 4:00 am or 5:00 am to jog, come back home at around 6:30 am there about to prepare for work. I finish everything about work at around 11:00 PM and repeat the next day until I started noticing little issues with my heart and my breathing and doctors advise I take time to rest. Since then my health has improved tremendously and I no longer joke with my rest days.

I was offered a job some months back the double the pay I receive at my current place of work, but had to politely decline despite having all the right qualifications for the job. I only had Sundays to rest and could be called upon even then to come to work. To be honest, It took me time to decline the offer because it was a good one, but I can not take a job that poses a threat to my health and that was the basis for which I had to decline. Moreso, family is important to me, which was another reason I turned it down.
If I am to take a job that requires me working over the weekends, then it will be one where I run shifts either daily, weekly or monthly. If these conditions are not met, then I would like to rest during the weekends. The major thing I do on a weekend is sleep. I eat and sleep because it is the only time I get to do these things without disturbance. I also do linear jobs during the weekends, but never a major office work because I do not want to be coming the next week mentally worn out.
