Día de exámenes🩸💉 [ESP-ENG]

Feliz noche amigos de Lifestyle y es que por aquí mientras no le podamos hacer la gastrocopia y colonoscopia a mi mamá, todas las semanas hay que hacer hematología y el examen de sangre oculta en heces y esto es para llevar un control de cómo va todo y ver qué la hemoglobina no baje y no les voy a mentir todas las semanas cuando hacemos esto me siento muy nerviosa solo de pensar que la hemoglobina haya bajado. Pero hoy estaba más tranquila confiando que todo estuviera bien. Nos tocó levantarnos bien temprano ya que son dos exámenes que debo hacer en laboratorios diferentes.

Good evening, Lifestyle friends! While we haven't been able to get my mom's gastroscopy and colonoscopy done, she needs a hematology test and a fecal occult blood test every week. This is to monitor her progress and make sure her hemoglobin doesn't drop. I won't lie, every week when we do this, I get very nervous just thinking about her hemoglobin dropping. But today I was calmer, confident that everything was fine. We had to get up very early since I have to get these two tests done at different labs.

Algo muy importante es que ella debe comer a sus horas fijas, esto a ayudado a su mejoría. Así que me levanté un poco antes que mi mamá y prepare una avena para que ella desayunara. Ademas leí mucho que la avena ayuda mucho con el estómago y es lo que necesitamos que ayude a que todo mejore con el estómago de mi mamá.

Something very important is that she needs to eat at regular times; this has helped her improve. So I got up a little before my mom and made her some oatmeal for breakfast. I also read a lot that oatmeal is very good for the stomach, and that's what we need to help my mom's stomach get better.

Nos busco un taxi y nos llevó a un laboratorio que es bastante cerca de casa y esto lo hacemos para que mi mamá no se canse mucho en ir hasta la clínica. Además la señora del laboratorio la conoce y habla mucho con ella, hoy dijo que la veía mucho mejor. Al terminar de sacarle la sangre lleve a mi mamá a la casa y volví a salir para ir hasta la clínica y ya era los otros exámenes.

I got a taxi for us and it took us to a lab that's quite close to home. We do this so my mom doesn't get too tired going to the clinic. Besides, the woman at the lab knows her and talks to her a lot; today she said she looked much better. After they finished drawing her blood, I took my mom home and then went back out to the clinic for the other tests.

Y llegué a la clínica, que increíble que casi han pasado tres meses desde que empezamos todo esto. Son muchos los días que hemos pasado en esta clínica, y muchas las consultas medicas. Esperemos que pronto tengamos respuestas de que es lo que pasa exactamente con mi mamá y sobretodo que ella mejore.

And I arrived at the clinic. It's incredible that almost three months have passed since we started all this. We've spent so many days here, and had so many medical appointments. Let's hope we soon have answers about exactly what's wrong with my mom, and above all, that she gets better.

Al llegar al laboratorio di los datos y cuál era el examen por el cual iba, me dijeron que colocará la muestra de heces en una mesa y saludé a la bioanalista que quiere mucho a mi mamá y siempre pregunta por ella. Los resultados de la hemoglobina fueron bastante buenos ya que casi no bajo, esto quiere decir que todo está mejorando.

When I arrived at the lab, I gave my information and explained which test I was there for. They told me to place the stool sample on a table, and I greeted the lab technician, who is very fond of my mother and always asks about her. The hemoglobin results were quite good, as it barely dropped, which means everything is improving.
